My Approach to Real Estate
I relocated from Maine, to Northern Virginia, more than 27 years ago. When I first arrived I was focused on my career in nursing and public health. After receiving a master’s degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, I spent 15 years working with organizations to implement public health initiatives at the national level.
About 10 years ago, my career trajectory took a dramatic turn. What started off as a part time venture, assisting my husband in running a small Design/Build company, became a full-time proposition. Being married to a builder, for 30 years, I have always had one foot in the world of construction and real estate investment. After 10 years working with him, both feet are now firmly planted in this world.
My goal as a realtor, is to use the knowledge and skills I’ve gained to help buyers find a home that works for them; assist sellers in transitioning from home owners to sellers; and to do so in a forthright, honest and respectful manner.
I guess you could say that this no nonsense approach to real estate stems directly from my roots as a “Mainer”. Whether a buyer or seller my philosophy is that, “you can get there from here.” My role is to help you to do so.
Whether you are looking to buy or sell a home I am here for you!
